Drop off rip off paking fees even for taxis! Treat you like rats in a maze on your return.

The airport is what it is; I think the other reviews say enough of that.My main issue with this place is related to Airport Police. I am a Maltese National, I look like one too. However, going through passport control and beyond is like attempting to enter North Korea. Once I landed here for a holiday of 11 days and the questioning by police at Passport Control was not like any other destination; quite awkward. Another time I visited on holiday for a long weekend, I was not questioned in detail at passport control but beyond that I was stopped and interrogated by another police who asked to see my passport again and asked a million questions.UK has always been a second home to me, revisiting on Holiday with great eagerness. The island of Malta is an ex British colony and I suppose quite a bit of this runs through our veins. However, when being treated like this, one starts to get very mixed feelings about it.

What a nasty place ! 3:00 just to turn your car round as there is no free drop off. Car park gravel puddles. More barriers around than you see at Heathrow. I was picking up my family. The flight was delayed. I had to sit in arrivals. It was awful. Just a vending machine. Every time some one used the gents hand dryers the noise could be heard all over. Big advert to say that shops, coffee were available in main departures terminal. Guess what it was all closed ! There is no view to see arrivals. They suddenly appear from behind a closed door. Ive never been in one but it felt like a prison. To cap it all I had to pay 10:00 for the car park. I only pay 5:00 at Heathrow. Shame on you Bournemouth Airport. The only thing you do well is putting people of flying from/to Bournemouth

Little tiny airport that pretty much belongs to Ryanair... The parking isn't expensive but isn't cheap neither... Couple of coffee shops inside where you can have a coffee or sandwich before you check in your luggage.

I love to pay 3 drop off a family then stay in a long queue for nearly 20mins to get out of their car park / drop exit.. Mud drop off area... I love Bournemouth Airport.... really
