Great pub that's a hidden gem on Christchurch high Street. Good range of beers, good food menu and friendly, helpful staff make this a must visit in Christchurch.
Perfect food and discounted drinks. Lovely place for a wind down and natter.
Maybe I haven't got the hang of this review lark as I assume a three star pub is clean, has decent beer and helpful staff. Three ticks then but an extra star as they had Harveys on draught (and in good condition and l never believe it travels well) and the burger was above pub average. Admittedly I had skipped lunch so maybe anything would have tasted good by then ..
We visited the George Inn for the first time and was really pleasantly surprised. A small pub with fantastic atmosphere, excellent burgers and really friendly owners. Steeped in history too. We were offered a generous discount to return within the month and we certainly shall!
Nice pub and atmosphere. Their pizza's are great. It's worth asking for extra tomatoes and cheese on the Margarita. Their prices are reasonable. The are also dog friendly. The staff are very kind and happy to help. Very relaxed ambience.
