So i popped in here to get a set of nails while on a weekend away. The service was quick but the girl cut the extension way too short then asked how long i wanted them. She did a good job although very short but upon paying she asked for 40. Now ive never paid that for a set of acrylics anywhere. So i paid and left and she handed me a loyalty card. On getting back to my accommodation not in same location- i looked at the card she gave me which had a price list on it quoted full set of acrylics as 30 so definitely think ive been ripped off here.
I had my nails done this week for my son's graduation, and very happy with the result. As I don't have my nails done very often I want them done well. This is about the 4th time I've been here, and again cannot fault them. Very friendly and professional. Nails are perfect and last really well. Would highly recommend.
They have an amazing way of doing your nails, they take there time and do the best they can. The reasults are amazing I had acrylics and they lasted for 5 weeks ! The only thing is they don't really speak clear English and not very chatty while you are having your nails done but apart from that amazing quality!!!
I came in for a trial for my wedding nails (3 weeks before my wedding) for a pedicure (my first one) and shellac on both nails and toes and my mum came in for acrylic white tips. It was meant to be a lovely treat (have a 2 year old and dont do much for myself!) my mum spent 95 for her to have wonky nails and for me to have both my big toes bleed and 4 of my fingers cut up! The woman who was meant to be treating me didnt speak a word to me, was so ruff that I loudly said ouch 3 times and it took over 2 hours as they treat everyone at the same time, going backwards and forwards! I complained and my mum received a mere 25 refund and then if that wasnt bad enough, a week before my wedding the owner Facebook messages me having a go about me apparently calling them to complain again! Literally beyond appalled at how this place is still running! The service and professionalism of this business is shocking, avoid at all cost!!
I have now visited Happy nails several times and on every occasion have been greeted with lovely friendly people, the attention to detail is fantastic, my Shellac varnished nails last and last. Well worth a visitHaven't been back for ages as the last time I went the staff were not as friendly and always talk in their language to each other, which in my opinion is extremely rude. The time keeping is awful as they slot people in as they like, and you are left for ages with u completed nails. So no 5 stars now only 3 stars
