Grumpy woman in charge approached our table and told us off after we had ordered two of our hot chocolates in takeaway cups even though we were drinking in the cafe. I pointed out that wed spent over 11 in total (there were four of us) but she seemed really bothered by it. Made us feel uncomfortable. Turns out takeaway drinks are 25p cheaper. We certainly werent trying to swindle her out of 50p, its just that cardboard cups are more suitable for our two young kids.
Really lovely place to eat and views of Hengisbury head and surrounding areas. We had cod chips and peas with a soft drink very reasonable. Excellent service. Friendly atmosphere
Poor coffee. Very expensive and tastes like frothy warm water. Avoid if you like coffee. Also avoid if you expect good customer service.
Very welcoming. Tables all clean and tidy and a good choice of food. Will definitely return.
This little cafe is a welcome haven on a windy morning on the quayside. With water lapping beside is, we tucked into Big Breakfasts with free coffee refills. They were tasty and plentiful and reasonably good value for money. The staff were friendly and helpful and the place was clean and tidy
