This place should be on every tourists list of 'things to do and see in Christchurch....It's different to a lot of indoor markets, it's clean, relatively well laid out, and has a lot of nostalgic as well as relatively modern stalls inside. There is a cafe with a menu that will suit most wants, for locals used to wandering around any of the hundreds of charity shops in the surrounding towns and villages the prices may seem overall to be on the high side, but as ever if the stall holder is there, some good old 'only fools and horses'haggling should get you what you want at a price you are happy with !

Eclectic. Much as you'd expect and want from it.
Plenty of goods to see. Great cafeteria and upstairs bar. Very impressed with juliet fox's stand. Well layer out.
What a place, masses to look at. Lots of retro or older to look at. Will take more than an hour to go around properly. A must for those interested in history. Nice little cafe and clean toilets. Nice touch having 60's background music. Sometimes for everyone. Free parking outside.
