Great - found the staff helpful and professional.

Rebuilding the city must seem like an impossible job, but I really like how it's coming along, great vision, and shows how passionate the council is about the future.

Christchurch is like a bad day in Bagdad for crackheads. Give me a job and I will help clean it up. You need to stop allowing people to come to Christchurch with winz grants as this is creating a bigger drug problem from lower socio economic groups who use the money as laundering.

Since the earthquakes christchurch has gone to the dogs. have spent the last two years living here, papanui, linwood & waltham and i would say no area is better than any other. crackheads, fake homeless & sundry criminals wonder the streets harassing people, infrastructure & local economy are stagnant. And a local council seemingly unable to make real changes for the wider community for the better. If you are considering moving to christchurch consider other options, this city is on the way out.

I think the Council has lost touch with the community nobody votes in the Council elections because it is run by bureaucracy. Participation in in asking what the community wants and needs is a "Focus on processes not outcome" which is why we have had such lousy rebuild process.
