Great atmosphere mostly but could improve staff are a disinterested lot not very helpful. Wouldnt go out of my way to visit in a hurry also only a select shopping experience. Needs more variety.
A pretty general shopping mall with general stores but a good place to go if you are looking to kill some time. Hoyts cinema is on the top floor which is a great place to go on a rainy day but can get busy then.
The palms mall at the time we were there was not to busy so it was pleasant shopping. The food court had lots of selection of food to chow down. It was clean and tidy with the experienced cleaners on hand.
Great shopping centre has hairdresser, mobile phone retailers, supermarket, jewellers, electronics, whitcoulls, gaming store, clothing store and food court. This is one of the larger retail spaces with a good range of retail outlets. Toilets are well maintained and stylish.
I am disgusted and embarrassed as a human to know that this happened at the Palms. A friend of mine was king punched on his way out, and knocked out flat cold. No police were called, no security arrived to help and no ambulance was was called. He has a previous head injury and for which he exists on a benefit for. It was seriously exacerbated and when he came to he was dangerously confused and he was completely ignored. So the Palms? Crappie security. Absolutely disgusting. Post that.And another thing, why on God's green earth would management allow drug paraphernalia be sold at the stall by the toilets? Sure, there are signs requiring that no gang patches be worn, then there are bongs for using illicit substances on display!! Are you crazy?
