Rude and unhelpful. Went in for an inner tube, was harshly told the price wasn't asked about size or nipple size. Worst experience I've encountered in a store. If you are looking for a decent bike shop try Cyclexperience on barrack Road. Will not be returning
Friendly and very helpful, very informative of all their products. Advised us on bike's that best suited our needs, we are very pleased with our purchases. Make you feel welcome and nothing is too much trouble. I would certainly recommend them.
Wife took her bike back to them with a dodgy back wheel a few years after she had first purchased it, they not replaced the wheel & the original quoted price but they also replaced her worn brake & gear cables & brake blocks & generally gave a service for no extra charge. Brilliant service so glad we decided to buy from a small independent retailer rather than Halfords.
After spending online thought I'd do the "right" thing and use my local bike shop. Sure he had the bit I wanted but the guy is as miserable as sin and had no time for me whatsoever. Too busy ripping off an old man who'd taken his bike in for maintenance. On my way out I offered my thanks and salutation but had zero response. I'll be back online. Sad day for the high street.
A good local shop. Took my bike in for some maintenance work. The staff did the work while I waited but acting on the advice which they gave, I was able to save unnecessary expense. First rate service.
