As far as campsite go, this is one of my favourites. Great cycle routes for the family, good campsites, clean toilets/showers with plenty hot water and a shop that sells everything you'd ever need. The bread is baked freshly every day and are happy to bake more if needed.. really helpful and friendly staff
Really good campsite on the New Forest. Not the cheapest but none are in this area. Really big place but that means you can find a quiet spot and the facilities were good. Super friendly staff to welcome you. There are local takeaways that deliver if short on food and the Indian food we had was awesome. Amazing walks on your doorstep. Good for the dog too.
Fantastic site, staff incredibly helpful for us, very inexperienced caravaners, could not have helped more!The location is very easy to access from all directions, roads easy to navigate with an unfamiliar appendage behind the car. The site is beautiful, the Forest ponies and cows made the holiday for my Grandson. We have experienced many sites as tent campers, and we will certainly be returning. Cannot recommend this site highly enough.
It's an OK campsite. Large with loads of kids running and playing around during the school holidays. There are some spots which you could camp in peace and quiet. However for pitches with electric supply, it is a fixed site for you. The ground is hard and your legs get bent because of the tarmac below, it was a former airfield. The shop is great. One of the best stocked shop with food and baked goods. It also does some camping supplies. Christchurch and Bournemouth is 30 minutes drive. A lot of walks around the New Forest. Toilets are clean although there were some clogged up cans because of bank holiday weekend. Otherwise I would imagine the toilets would be cleaner. Pay 10 deposit for family bathroom at the shop. It's locked. 1 deposit to use the freezer in the shop. It's an all rounder campsite.
Very busy when we stayed but still able to find a nice pitch in the trees. Not the most peacefully campsite but a nice friendly atmosphere. The staff are helpful and the facilities are well maintained and clean. Good place. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a camp site in New Forest
