I went to this orthodontist as a college student and she was known amongst peers to be austere and alarming. I once snapped the wire in my braces and she proceeded to remove it for replacing and snipped into my gum twice without apology and I felt like I deserved to lie back and take it. I was also told I would need to wear my retainer for my entire life which was not true. I nearly finished my treatment but due to the nature of appointments here and the alarm (in my youth) of feeling like I would be a great baby with a slurpy retainer for the rest of my life I didn't continue. I advise parents to take their under 18s elsewhere... free treatment is too good to mess up in the hands of someone so cold and impatient.
