Brilliant meal, friendly atmosphere
Exceptional restaurant, the staff make you feel welcome, the service is second to none and the food is superb. Definately will visit again when I'm next in that area. Highly recommend.

Probably the best restaurant I've ever been to, annoyingly. Never expected this to blow the best of London out of the water. The tasting menu is superb. 7 delicious courses including lamb and passionfruit souffle, all served with very imaginative, deliciously flavoursome and incredibly complimentary sides. Spectacular view across the sea. Most importantly, wonderful service from a team who all seem to care hugely about giving you a great experience. Exceptionally detailed descriptions of each dish and wine pairing and how they complement each other, without being long and onerous. Fantastic experience and flavours, thank you! Overall perhaps I wish this restaurant had not been quite as good, as now probably the best restaurant I've ever been to in the UK is no longer in my home city London but 2.5 hours away...! Oh and did I mention it has an amazing view over the bay with floor to ceiling glass windows?
I'm selfishly reluctant to say how good The Jetty is as I don't want to share it. Stunning cooking from a varied menu of locally-sourced food. It didn't harm that we sat by the water's edge watching sandpipers work in glistening sunlight while we enjoyed perfect food on a perfect afternoon. My favourite restaurant in Hampshire, and probably in England. Congratulations to Alex Aitken and his team on an exemplary establishment.
